Mandatory Prerequisites

Prior to viewing Workflow History, refer to the following Topic:

Division: this is the division to view the Workflow history for. It will default to the division that the user is logged into.

 

Type: this is the type of Workflow record to view the history.

 

Source: this is the step the Workflow Type record was at, before being assigned to the Target step.

 

Target: this is the step the Workflow Type record was assigned to, after the Source step.

 

User: this is the User ID to view the Workflow history for.

 

Date From: this is the start date to view the Workflow history for.

 

Date To: this is the end date to view the Workflow history for.

 

Workflow History table: this is populated with the history of the selected type of workflow records when the Application tool-bar push button: Select is clicked.

How Do I : View a Workflow History

  1. Change the default value in the Division field if required.
  2. In the Type field, select a type of entity from the drop down list to view the Workflow history for.
  3. In the Source drop down list, select the step the Workflow Type was at, before being assigned to the Target step.
  4. In the Target drop down list, select the step the Workflow Type was assigned to, after the Source step.
  5. In the User field, enter the user to view the Workflow history for.
  6. In the Date From drop down list, select the start date to view the Workflow history for.
  7. In the Date To drop down list, select the end date to view the Workflow history for.
  8. Click the Application tool-bar push button: Select and wait (depending on the number of history related to the selected workflow type in the database) for the results to be shown in the Workflow History table.
  9. Refer to "How Do I : Export a Grid to Microsoft Excel"to extract the Workflow history records into an Excel Spreadsheet.
